Blueberries have always been our main crop, but a strict monoculture or even too high a proportion of it brings vulnerability to pests, disease, and weather issues. This year we’re introducing raspberries as another pick-your-own option for our customers.  We’re beginning a new planting of them just beyond our blueberry orchard and will be building on it each year.  Primarily we’ll focus on fall-bearing bushes, so just as our blueberries are winding down for the year, or raspberries will be coming in. We will grow the raspberries much the same as we do our blueberries by incorporating our birds to graze around them for pest, weed, and disease control all while increasing overall fertility. More information will be added here as we determine varieties to be planted.
